I love poppies, they're lovely to photograph, very very saturated shot this one dude, maybe slightly too much to add the the only criticism, but apart from that... It's lush!!
The saturation is due to Mr.Olympus. This trip was entirely JPEG and Olympus JPEGs are considered to be the business. They indeed are, as I mostly used Canon, and Panasonic for holidays and their Jpegs are much more muted in colour, saturation etc. There really is something called "Olympus Colour" which Olympus fanboys go on about, because I've never matched it with Canon or Panasonic! It's just more pleasing to the eye, whatever the hell it is!
