More Zeiss Nettar shots

Ruined by cars and vans...but I do like the instant old Edinburgh vibe. I did a teeny bit of darkening.

A couple of squint ones - I find it really hard to know exactly what I'm looking at when lining up the viewfinder.

Rob, where do you hide your time-machine when you return home from the 19th century?
Can you tell us how you put the 21st century cars in there?
First one is especially a gorgeous urban image. :)

With regards to your initial comment, this is the town hall from where I am from circa 1900, ruined by the horse and cart.

If we don't take a photo of the present, how will we know what it was like in the past?

What wonderfully evocative images Rob

David - I agree, but there are enough people doing that already. I like cars in the areas where the architecture was designed by people who drive cars. Much of old Edinburgh was not, and cars just look out of place there. My opinion, of course.

Chris - ta very much, lad!

Thats true, I do like those photos though, if they didn't have the cars they are timeless images.

Thanks, Pete. A Mamiya 6 or 7 is on the horizon. One day. Certainly, these shots mean more to me than the digital trickery with bin lids and flowers, although they can be impressive. I'm hoping for interesting results from the C330s - two rolls heading off tomorrow.

I saw that at Ffordes, but you don't think it is a good one? Looks good to me, so how do you know? Unfortunately, I just don't have that kind of money at the moment.
