By the way, Glenn its a Morris Minor.

Don't know if this is true but I read once that Sir Alec Issigonis (designer of this Morris Minor) didn't like the look of the clay model when he first saw it in full size mock up. So he had the modelers remove a 12 inch slice down the middle of the car, front-to-back, and then had the two sides pushed together. Presumably that looked better to his eye because that became the design of the car.

The grill @Brian Moore I seem the remember earlier models had visible uprights sections on the grill whereas the mid 60's on grill was just the horizontal bars as on this one
