Mother & Son

Good shot and bravely taken, Dougie. (I know what you mean about your aversion. My brother in law maintains a small herd of about 30 "heeland coos" up in Applecross. They are fearsome looking creatures and its an act of faith to approach them, but they are quite docile. Although, I think there may be times in the year when the bull will get sensitive if he thinks you are interested in his women.)

Rob...they are actually black, not the Shortbread Tin red coloured beasts...and it may be a girl, I didn't hang around long enough to look...mother had been rubbing her backside on some of my fenceposts and I was becoming concerned the aged things would give way...:-)

I kind of sense you fear Douglas as the gruesome one, another Norwegian word, has its back to you. I have never seen the cows in black and white either, and I think you did very well here, resisting your anxieties. Brave man:eek:
