My cheap lighting has arrived which i am quite happy with considering the cost, i was dreading stuff blowing up but to my wonder it works well. These are my first shots using two flash heads, one with soft box and one without for background. Both photos have been slightly edited to get rid of some small shadows and a slight darkening on the skirting board. Apart from that it takes me less time earsing background stuff now so really happy. shot with 18-135mm lens as my 50mm on 60d is no good for full lenght work as i have a small garage. :)

Very nice matey! The first shot is really nice, and I'm not that I to high key...
Soy out happy with them then?
Keep us posted on your progress ... Maybe a couple of shots of the lights and a little write up if you have time? This sorta set up could be the perfect thing for a lot of people if it does turn out to be pretty good!

Yeah pretty chuffed with them tbh. Will do a write up and some pics for you next week.

Result!

What aperture are you getting with the two flash heads running?

Will double check when I get home pretty sure I was using f11-16 with shutter speed at 250sec. Will put some pics and write up on this thread. The two lights were set at roughly 3/4 power bare light and other one with soft box at slightly under 3/4 due to the dial being like a dimmer switch you can only guess the power but will do some test shots at different apertures and also different power levels to gain what the lights are doing . Should be interesting

Might be useful to have an ND filter available to control aperture as well - especially as you're in a smaller space and can't back-off the lights very far.

have put quick review and workable settings in lighting forum for this product i have bought so you can see what you can get out of this cheap but cheerful kit
