Here's a view from the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles California. There's nary a right angle to be found here.
(Don't know who that feller is either.)

I took this with my Canon F1 and Canon FD28mm lens.

Thank you Pete. It's an interesting design to say the least. I took this photo on a drizzly day back in March. I took a day off work and my older daughter (19 at that time) and I visited the Disney Concert Hall and a few other sites in the Los Angeles downtown area. I'm sure you've seen pictures of this place because is it such a commonly-photographed piece of architecture. I made it a point to someday attend a concert at the Disney. A few months later, my wife and two daughters and I attended a benefit concert here for the Japan Tsunami victims. It's a wonderful venue. Anyway, thanks again, Pete. Let me know if you'd like to see a picture or two more of the Disney. (I have one--which my daughter Caiti took--that I'm actually in, and because I'm in it I help provide sense of scale to the place.)

Capturing LA in the rain deserves a medal - you must have risked life and limb in CA traffic in the rain!

I like the way the building is leaning forward to listen to the conversation on the cellphone - excellent :)

Thanks Pete and Chris. To provide a sense of scale (as well as another view) of the Disney Concert Hall I thought I'd post this one.

The tiny wee man at the top of the stairs is me. My daughter Caiti took this shot (with a Pentax SF-10 that a guy at work gave to me, and Memories 200 film.)

You're not wearing the big ears and nose!! That's a nice composition that Caiti has come up with. Shame she didn't step just a bit further back to get the bottoms of the rail and the LH diagonal in. I like the fail Alat Disney in the RH side. I guess that's etched onto a gloss surface is it? Fabulous building.

I think if she had stepped back any further to get more in she'd have been standing on the road--not a good idea in busy LA.

Thanks for the comments Pete. I actually think Caiti has a pretty good eye for an image, but she's not caught up in photography (Uni is her priority at the moment), she herself pooh poohs her own skill (unwarranted self-criticism), and worst of all, she prefers digital to film (paternal disappointment :)).
