I confess I was inspired to post a flipped lens image today because of the lens baby images I saw earlier today.

I took this at the Getty Villa in Malibu with my Kodak Brownie Hawkeye Flash model with flipped lens. I was using Tri-x 400 and I developed the film in Rodinal.

Wow! This is great, as pete said, a nice dreamy feel to this. :)

Thank you, Pete and Dan. Funny thing is, when I got this camera I took the lens and the other glass (viewfinder, mirror, etc.) out to clean it all of it's 60 years of dust and grunge and when I put it back together I accidentally installed the lens backwards. (Normally a lens fits convex side facing out,...but on the Brownie Hawkeye, it's concave side faces out.) So you can imagine my surprise when I developed my first set of images. It was a happy accident, though.

Thanks again.
