My good friend Larry is selling a Leica M3 on EBAY

Met up with some friends last night for SWMBOs birthday bash - Larry, an avid EBAYer mentioned he was selling a Leica M3 and lenses he'd acquired locally, on EBAY.

He's no photographer, just an avid trader, so no idea as to the functional condition of the kit - however it looks well cared for, and I could always pop round and check it for someone if they were interested.

No affiliation, and I'm not getting a kickback! :D

Auction includes body, 3 lenses, light meter(s) and other accessories including manuals.

Lenses: Summaron f3.5, 1.35

Summicron f 5 , 1.2

Ernst Leitz Wetzlar f 9, 1.4

Given the buy it now price - maybe I should push for a finders fee :p

He's got his numbers a bit wonky ... Might be worth letting him know
Should be summicron 50mm f1:2 or as I would write it f2.0
Summaron 35mm f3.5 (1:3.5)
Weltzar 90mm f4.0

The confusion will have come about because of how it is writen
These lenses are old enough to have the specs detailed on the lenses differently inc the focal length in cm not mm
Eg "Summaron f=3,5cm 1.3,5" which as I say, translates to Summaron 35mm f3.5

Now I'm sure most leica buyers will know this, but leica buyers will also probably want to know they are buying off someone versed in this sort thing ... Hope that helps him

It might be worth checking the meter, and confirming what the other accessories are ... And thier condition!
With an item like this, I would be looking for a very detailed description too

Hopefully this comes accross as helpful, not somthing else!
