7th September last friday of the Paralympics, this Gent was on the grounds of St Martin in the Fields Church, next to Trafalgar Square, foraging for food.
Usually i have some change, for some reason this time i didnt. What would a little change done anyway.

I used to work with the homeless. I had to stop because nothing really could be done for them, and i couldn't cope with that.
This Gent i sensed wanted his privacy so i kept a respectful distance. Many are this way. Others like to chat and have a laff ... though that depends how they are feeling at that moment.

The Inspire a Generation for me would be to inspire to make some sort of change. One homeless Gent with a doggie said there's only one dog n man shelter in London, other homeless shelters wont accept him as he has a doggie.

How strange... I worked at Crisis for Christmas for several years - mainly looking after the dogs, but of course, I got to know their owners very well too. I know what you mean because even those turning up determined that particular Christmas would be the one where they got a job/home/life, it was almost impossible. They are the most vulnerable in our society and yet nothing seems to change from one year to another :(

I used to volunteer in our local homeless shelter where i lived before & Big Issue. In the shelter we had teenagers, people in their 40-60s. The one that weren't in the shelter told me the places they slept in. Some opened up about their life.
