Nikon D700 with Nikon 70-300mm F4-5.6 VR

SB-900 off camera and diffused. I placed the speedlight on one of the handrail uprights to give me a slight upward light to fill the shadows under her chin and eyes etc. Then stepped back and zoomed past it to minimise depth of field at F5.6 (Yes I would like a faster lens but needs must.)

i was reprimanding my self for not taking my flash to an event the other day!
MUST USE FLASH MORE FOR WORK!

Came out very nicely Dave - love a bit of fill flash to add punch and banish those shadows
