Thanks Tony. I had that burr under my saddle and had put a bid on a Graflex that was rejected. I started looking at other models that were either 3D printed or mostly wood. It turned out that my "local" shop had one of these which is all metal and had the advantage of allowing me to handle it prior to purchase (I had already purchased a lens by the time I settled on an actual camera). The 90mm is apparently the most common wide-angle for this size and going smaller usually involves a somewhat "special" lens board. As it turned out the lens board that came with the Nikkor lens was sized for a Linhoff and the lens board on the Toyo was sized for a larger Copol shutter, so I ended up swapping lens boards back at Blue Moon.
I think it depends on the camera as to wider angle lens boards. The Linhof had a special concave one for even the 90mm I had but the Woodman I used later would go shorter with a flat board.
Vodka or large-format film?
It seems Beth prefers Grey Goose or Belvedere over a Blue Moon.
vodka. lg format is interesting....but vodka. or bourbon. but mostly vodka. deep eddys or titos. my two favorite men.
The first attempt was a bust in several ways. First, upon flipping over my film holder I neglected to pull the dark slide prior to clicking the shutter. Second, the single negative that was exposed was both really underexposed and had some odd results during processing. Third I scanned the negative by placing it directly on my computer screen and you can see the individual emitters.
