Brian, the 20 Popular Uke Tunes for Kids has just come out: http://www.melbay.com/Products/30431BCD/20-popular-uke-tunes-for-kids.aspx - although for kids, it is proving popular with my adult beginners. I learned these tunes on the uke when I was eight years old, so it is nice to come full circle. Ukes are cheap, but don't buy the cheapest you can find, as they will play out of tune pretty much all the time, and lead to frustration.
