New Shots from XA3 and XP2

As related elsewhere, the place I get my films developed, Boots The Chemist, gave me a CD of scans of someone else's photos. Luckily they also gave me prints of my own photos, the smallest size, 6x4. I scanned some of the better ones, and here they are. In and around Princes Street, Edinburgh. I scanned the photos, not the negs, which are all the correct ones. I must invest in a neg scanner. But in the meantime:

Now there's a fine set Rob. Love the alley and the layered sign. And the sun behind the lamp in the last is very nice. Love the gleam off the seat.

And what is even better is the thought that there are a bunch of hippies somewhere saying, "Wow that stuff was good. I don't remember any of this! Who the hell's that monk!". ;)

Yes, that thought has crossed my mind. They'll be too stoned to not think they did them themselves. Very funny.

Glad you noticed the sun in the lamp - a wee joke :)

The layered sign came out better than I had hoped, as did the staircase with lights (3rd from end).

Rob, the second last one is a cracker, I really like the contrasts...and that sign...I'm intrigued...what does it actually say...???

Thanks, Dougie. It's a fantastic sign. Must be meeting rooms for progressive types, Reformers, Women's groups...and the Forestry Institute. It's on George IV Bridge.

All fine shots, Rob,...but the first one of the close appeals particularly to me. Excellent stuff. (What's that Monkish chap selling? Mead?)
