Hi all,
I am going to keep updating this thread with various lenses that I attach to my NEX-3 as I now have an M39, M44 and C mount adaptors - will get PK, Nikon and Canon adaptors soon but I have a few lenses for what I already have.
The plan is to show off some test images using the same camera but different lenses to give a comparison, I will show the RAW file from the camera (just converted to Jpeg) and then the same shot after post.
I will probably be doing quite a few flowers/nature shots as this usually helps show off the 'bokeh' of each of the lenses. I will be keeping the ISO as low as possible - currently set to ISO 200, and I will try and get the best shots out of any test shots I do. The NEX focus peaking it really rather good and useful the NEX is a crop sensor so it will be slightly different, I will but the 35mm equivilents with any of the lenses.
Here is the first lens, its an M39 Jupiter 8 RF lens, found on my Zorki 4k, 50mm (75mm equivilent), f2 lens.

Comments on using the lens - no click stops for aperture and has a smooth movement much like the focus, nice usable lens. Nice lens to use, its cheap to buy and mine was well made and looked after, however like most russian lenses, there are good and bad ones. Its relativly fast and is slightly more useful than the Helios 44-2 due to the smaller focal length which is useful for a crop camera.
