Night Shot with Minox 35GT

Weekdays I usually walk Sadie at night time. There is a house we pass on our route that has a lovely red door. I decided one night to get a shot with the Minox. (Usually I have the Oly XA or XA3 with me on my walks, but I had been testing the Minox and so that's what I had on me.)

To steady the wee thing I used the pavementpod ("kerbpod" in America).

Unfortunately the lovely red door got blown out somewhat by the porch light, but I was happy with the long exposure performance of the Minox.

That is a super shot Brian. Love the angle and the slightly desolate air it gives. If it wasn't for the happy face on the house, it could be quite menacing! ;)

"happy face on the house"...?

Pete,...your vision is rightly celebrated for clarity, perspective and indeed, perception. But what the hell are you talking about? ;):D:p:rolleyes::cool::)[ner]

Sorry, I forgot. The ability to see human faces in random patterns is hard-wired into human brains. It won't work with aliens no matter how good the deception! ;)

Upstairs windows as eyes (slightly crossed eyed ones at that) and the downstairs one as the mouth! :)

Well,...I had the feeling that's what you meant but you never mentioned the bullet hole to the temple, so I assumed I had it wrong. :p
