Sorry, yet another photo from Libya. I took this a while ago and keep coming back to it as I really like it but there's something maybe not right but I can put my finger on it..........

I like that!
I think it might just be the fact there is a lot to look at and the compo doesn't quite suit that fact ...
I like it though!

I think you have a point there Hamish, Its quite a heavily cropped image already but a little more refinement wont hurt.

I'm beginning to think there is two images in there, the bottom half just past the top of the arch and the top half maybe just before the sign in the archway. I only noticed it because the photo displayed large on the website and I could only see half at a time.

Can I have a go at cropping the original my self ... Or is that a bit cheeky? ;)

Warning phoographers ... Major thread drift!
project debut for parts arrived this morning ... I need your thoughts on how to fix it ...
It's the hole that's broken not the shaft ... The new shaft gets jammed in the hole in the same way the other one does
So I need to swap out the bearing, but it's glued in ... And what with the wire that goes to it?

No worries ... I want to know what it sounds like ...
I have got my self a ortophon 2m red, shure m75 and a nagaoka mp11 boron to try on it now...

Paul,

That was my first thought - 2 pcitures. You say it is already cropped though, what's the full image like? I ask because, although there are two focal points, I still like it somehow and wondered if there is another link in the whole (I'm sure you've been through this already but it is always interesting to see a process).

ditto with the first thought about two pictures also it would be interesting to see the original image. Maybe the colour version would work well with the right processing. This feels like one of those shots you can have a good play around with to get some nice versions.
