The brick showed up today. It is really clean and the meter works just fine. I picked up some film for its inaugural trip to the beach next week as well as a copy of the Nikkor non-AI 105/2.5 manual focus lens.

That old scalloped-ring 105 is one of my all-time favourite lenses.

It was suggested to me as being a legend. The only lens I had for the F2 was the 35/2, so I figured the 105 was worth a try. I have the F2 loaded and it's going out with me this morning. Who knows how long 36 exposures will take?
