there were tour buses full of chinese visitors in the tetons. all of them had umbrellas, but they weren't using them in the rain or snow oddly enough, only when the sun was shining. i guess theirs come with different instructions than the american versions.

i like how you shot them just as they were entering the shadow, great timing.

Thanks Beth - I was already composing the shot when I caught them out of the corner of my eye - so I just had to wait for that moment

I tried to squeeze of two shots - but the second one has them in full shadow and is a bust

Thanks Brian - it is one of the advantages of using the rear LCD for comp rather than the viewfinder - you can see what's happening all around all the time - I really like it
