Not acting his age

Tuesday. X100. Stanley just does not act 12 years old. I really hope I have a few more years with him. He is the best friend I have ever had. Not that he has been a "good" dog, but he's always been...umm...entertaining. :D

Yup, the third is a classic. I don't want to hear anymore nonsense from you about not being able to take photos. That one's a cracker!

Really nice shots Steve. I am dealing with a 14 year myself...she is beginning to really slow down. I try not to think about what it will be like without my friend.

Hugo (3rd one) really has the Robert Redford pose down. He's almost too handsome for his own good. Pete makes a good point though - there is a majestic air about Stanley in that first one.

Oh - and yes, what Rob said. No more of that nonsense.

I like them all, but the first is my favourite. Entertaining is so much better than well trained any day :D

Lesley,

They are still working on getting me trained. I'm sure they are very frustrated by my inability to learn the value of simple truisms like more mud is good, eating stale cupcakes off the ground is haute cuisine, and saying hello to everyone (especially children) is good manners, but they are tireless in their determination. :D

Going with the consensus and agreeing on the third as being my fave. I lost my old Boo this time last year at 15 years, sad times but you have and will have many memories and some fantastic shots and 'good' boy or not he is a true friend ;)
