Looks a bit like Epilobium (Rosebay Willow Herb) or something similar (how tall is it?). Makes for a nice abstract photo though and the dark background works well.

About four inches tall. Never heard of Epilobium...lots of it around here. Lovely shapes it flows into.

OK, that's too small. Similar seeds though. Rense is probably the one to identify it.

When I saw the photo, I instantly thought it would be an Epilobium, yes, so I think Pete is right. Sometimes you find dwarf forms of it, especially on nutrient poor places. It's a close relative of the famous fireweed, which is placed in Epilobium by some systematists too.
Nice shots, try it when it has flowers too!
