I'm not sure what the answer to that question is, Paul. I don't think the film was expired (I try to always make mention of such in the filename--I didn't in the files from this roll). I don't recall where I got the film. Maybe I bought it at Walgreens but that would be unusual for me. (I've bought deeply-discounted Kodak film at Walgreens in the past, but I just don't recall buying their own branded stuff.) I thought maybe I had grossly misadjusted the ASA on the camera, or perhaps had simply neglected to adjust it after installing the film, but that doesn't make sense since although every image from the roll shows pronounced grain, they are, for the most part, nicely exposed. My best guess is simply that this roll of film was just poorly stored somewhere.
Thanks, Paul. And surely not. The manufacturer of the film, by the way, is Fuji. I've shot lots of Fuji 200 (sold under numerous brand names) but the grain in this one is unusual.
