Very nice series and a good flavour of the place from the towering avenues to the hustle and bustle to the skyline around central park. I guess you have many more.
I agree with Pete! The capture atmosphere is spot on!
I think I'm going to enjoy your photography Chris!
The first 2 are especially good IMO! The flare works a treat on the first!!
Where's Darren Bradley these days, I reckon he would get a kick out of these even of they do break his ideals for straight verticals etc!
Thanks to all for the magnificently swollen head I'm getting! As far as the gear...Olympus e-500/Zuiko ED 14-45mm. To be perfectly honest, 90% of the time I use the camera like a point 'n' shoot. When I'm travelling, the last thing I want to do is fiddle with settings before each and every picture. It wasn't such a big deal with my Pentax K1000, but then there were only 2 or 3 knobs/dials to fool with, and it became almost instinctual. Has anybody come up with a modern digital that has an interface like an old analog? I'd jump on it!
First pic is leaning out the hotel window (mind the pigeon poop), second is Times Square again, and the third is at the 9/11 memorial...two giant waterfalls where the twin towers once stood...kinda spooky.
