Well the past week Ive been obsessed with this particular tree on one of the ponds in Wanstead Park. No mater when Im there there are people around it or the light is not right so I need to get it of my chest and move on and forget about it.

It leans! he he

I think I'm going to shoot Ilford when I get started. I used to prefer it over T-max. I don't remember using Agfa b&w, although I used to use some Agfa color neg film. This is like going back to school. Love that second shot, but I think it would be better without the wires.

Will take the wires out when I get round to processing them in Lightroom/ Photoshop but I only process what I like and at the moment not happy with any of them.
Ive found the Delta Pro 400 seems quite nice the HP5 seems alright as well, Stay away from there kentmere range Ive had nothing but grief with every roll.

I know how you feel, Martin. There was a tree on my route to work that I became almost fixated on. Unfortunately it was on the side of the freeway onramp so I could never get a half decent picture. But every day I thought, what a handsome tree!

I like your 2nd picture a lot. It's the famous Leaning Tree of Wanstead. :)

I like both shots, Martin. It was a good idea to include the smaller stump in the first, though the main tree looks a little odd at this angle, because it's leaning away from you. The second shows the lean much better, emphasised by the sign leaning in the opposite direction.
I can see why you are fascinated by this tree!

Yea its a odd ball kind of tree (bit like myself) but there are electricity pylons all around it easy enough to take out in lightroom but just not happy with the scans at the moment so won't be processing any for print as yet. Or it could be my processing a lot of testing needs to be done I think

From a boat midstream, the wires would go away and since you are obsessed with it, that is where to go on your next vantage point Martin:rolleyes: Make it an assignment so we can follow your progress with it. As I understand, it is not far from where you reside is it? It is interesting to follow your obsessions. I can see others here who have obsessions too. They seem to go in all directions.:D
