Thank you sir, as it is your good self Ivar, the one with pointy things, I shall treat you to the full glories of off the quayWhat another Merrill? I like it but would preferred another shade of....I assume the water is not that murkey..
Honestly a fine image sir.
Ever had the thought that it may be that everything else is strange and strange may be the attractive attribute. After all what can be more strange that people who grows horns from their heads. Need I say more. I am not buying any more cameras however lovely and strange they are , I have enough, more than I can carry, The Merrill's though are the stars and without repeating myself the best camera's ever made Some of the time anywayI can see clearly now, the rain is gone.....and what an improvement, as I glanse through the best viewfinder there is, digitally, compared to a stuck window in your face!
But the murkey one is to be preferred I have to ad. Have you noticed that there is a new Merrill on the market with exchangeable lenses for it. Was launched the other day! Something for me is it? Looks a little strange though.
I have many thoughts about much strangeness, but should I reveal some of these thoughts to strange people, they may appear very strange in their strange minds I gather or may make them stranger than they originally were, even the ones who grow horns wherever they are to be found, strangely enough! I quite often see homo sapiens who seem to appear out of California with horns on their heads and they are not at all attractive. Cameras can be beautiful and attractive toys which have a tendency to deceive people into believing that they are the ones that produce images and not the strange creatures behind them. Now that is strange. As strange as I am, I still am more than content with my beautiful mistresses as I call them. I always exploit them to my advantage.Ever had the thought that it may be that everything else is strange and strange may be the attractive attribute. Thank you Rob. The boats go to and from frequently, it is only a matter of getting to the end of the quay. I've quite a collection of Frazier's slip images, perhaps I can do a sequel of Off the Quay.Beautiful, Julian. I've had similar shots in my site before, but they haven't come off as well as these. The first is perfect.
The fact that I have the best camera in the world and it is better than your mistress and that I dont have anything to do with the images, whilst having a lot of tongue in my cheek and an expression of just how lovely it is to have a forum where such things are not taken seriouslyI have many thoughts about much strangeness, but should I reveal some of these thoughts to strange people, they may appear very strange in their strange minds I gather or may make them stranger than they originally were, even the ones who grow horns wherever they are to be found, strangely enough! You are aware all proper photographers shoot in shades without colourA very good idea Julian, but keep them in all shades of......
Hope you did not take it too seriously? When I saw this impulsive outburst of an exclamation I had to cool myself down. Now after a large dosage of an sedative medicinal aid, as in ice cream as I am quite calm by now, I had to read this once more. I hope that you are aware of the fact that you by such an exclamation acuse all photographers who have appeared with their exquisite imagery in magazines as National Geographic to name one, that they are not proper photographers. As well as try to drag other big names in photography, into a grey mass of mud, calling them not proper photographers. I am appalled and can only think that you in such an incident, must have been intoxicated of some sort. Since you also try to ridicule me and insult me in such a manner. I am devastated and shall seek comfort in Helga from now on. A man with such creative talent who is modelling in colour, can stoop to such a low level. My horns are in shock and seem to be in a stance I feel I can't elaborate on. My good man, what were you thinking of? Do you really mean that Michelangelo should have painted in shades of grey?
Awww poor you, it all sounds quite painful and troubled. Knowing the Nosreman he'll bounce back quicker than a bouncy ball.I made a mistake and read it to my boss which I never should have done. Now I am left out in the cold and have to convey my apologies to Julian through here so that she can see that I've done it.
I think it's time to leave this forum now as I'm not being understood neither here nor at home. Probably why the doctor operated on my nose this morning. I stick it into too much trouble. No consolation at home though!
Thank you PeteBeautiful work, Julian. Love the balance and tones of the mono shot and the colours and feel of the second are just wonderful.
Thank you Brian. Your photo of a viking, surely far to handsome for those horned ones. Must be a photoshop jobTwo fine images, Julian. I like the colors in number two but number one works better for me due mostly to the relative positioning of the two vessels.
