Old lens in new light

I put this 1956 Elmar 90mm f/4 lens on the Leica Monochrom with a screw-mount to m-mount adapter, and I must say I like its softness. These images contrast favourably with the more digital-looking Q shots I did a few days ago. So, I like these old lenses on modern digital cameras. And they are a LOT cheaper than modern Leica lenses, that's for sure!

Very nice Rob.
I especially like the first one (of the rose, that is).
I vigorously agree with the main tenet of the post, though. I bought an adapter to use my old Pentax lenses on a Canon and I was immediately captured by the results. Since then, I have had over 50 strays follow me home from those rare trips when the nurse has let me out.
