I got a Bottle of single malt for Christmas and decided to take a couple of pic's.
Nothing special (the pictures not the Whisky;)) just placed on a table with a spotlight above right and on board flash. Adjusted a bit in CS3 and cloned out the light reflections on the bottle.

Should really have taken a bit more care over placement and composition but I was just wasting a bit of time because I was bored:o.

Then I got a couple of my hip flasks out.

Then popped the top off and poured myself a glass[ner].

Of course now that the seal has been broken I'll have to drink it before it evaporates[devil].

Good job glen!
Cloning those reflections out has really smoothed the bottle over nicely.

How was the drink?

Is it nice?

Had a lovely Jura the other day ... Had a hankering for more ever since ... Lovely and fruity it was ...........

Anywaaaaay, enough of my problems ...

There would have been two blocks of ice in that glass if I hadn't misplaced the recipe[doh].

Must admit I hadn't heard of this particular tipple until I got a bottle for my birthday last year post′humously from my brother-in-laws dog, I was that impressed with it he got me another bottle for Christmas:).

Ahh, Poor Jake:(. He died two years ago and left me a bottle of whisky for my birthdays and Christmas presents in his will ;).

That is the most feeble excuse to open a bottle of malt I've ever read (worse even than some of Brian's)! ;)
I know Pete, but it's not my birthday for another week so I had to think of some excuse[devil].

What are those things on the right of the 2nd and 3rd foties? They look like binoculars. Are they for pouring the whisky into your eyeballs? (I need to get some to replace the whisky that occasionally is coming out my eyeballs.)

That's for a wee dram when I'm out birdwatching in the winter, people wonder why I walk around with two pairs of Bino's...;).

so you got this for christmas and it's still mostly there? anyone else see something wrong with this picture? ;)
I had a couple of bottles of other drink to go trough first Beth and once I open a bottle of Malt it normally only lasts day or two so I try and save it and enjoy it :D.

Oh man...I wake to this? Nice photos...but it's also my inspiration to make it through the day until I can relax on the terrace with a tall glass.
