Finally had a proper day out around Rye. Farthest I have been from home for over a year.
Old sea defences.

Not as crowded as my day out, Dave! Beautiful. I would much rather have been in Rye. By the way, does Rye have seven seas?

What a fabulous set, Dave. Doesn't the sea do wonderful things to wood?
Do you know, in all the years I lived down there, and despite visiting Rye dozens of times, I never went down to the shore, just into the town. So Rob, it may well have, but I never took the opportunity to count them!

Thank you folks.
The salt marshes and coast are the best bits Pete. I find Rye itself so twee and touristy it is almost a cliche, impossible to take a photo that does not look like a tourist pic.
Just the one sea Rob, but we have got the Cinque Ports in these parts.

These are wonderful, Dave. Very creative compositions. I love what the sea has made of that chuck of wood in picture #2.
