Older lenses compatible with Canon EF mount

My Fuji gs645s cost me £270 and that top end!
The lens is fixed ... So there is no worry about trying to fit it to anything else ;)

Or a very jacket with very big pockets! ;)

are all the fuji medium format fixed lens? particularly the 6X9 models?

I don't know why but I am not attracted to square(ish) formats, maybe because I've grown accustomed to shooting more horizontal ratios over the years!

my apologies pete I didn't mean to disregard your recommendations (I was just eyeballing the Hasselblad 500 CM) I just meant that I might put a square ratio camera further down on the wishlist and actually spend money soon on something more horizontal...

Don't worry Fidel I know what you meant and I was just perpetuating the joke about me trying to brainwash everyone into shooting / cropping square. The C/M is very nice camera system and cross compatible with all the other V-system cameras. You can also get converters to use the lenses on Nikon and Canon bodies to very good effect. I use these cameras a lot but it all depends on how you want to shoot. The RFs obviously offer you a more dynamic style but it might well be nice to adapt to the slower pace of a C/M for your personal work.

I'm sure you have thought of all of this already. But sometimes it helps to have someone play 'Devil's Advocate'. Helps sharpen the decision making process I find.

... The cm is one of the best things I have ever bought!
Petes point about slowing the pace of shooting couldn't be more valid!!
Shame I haven't seen it for months whilst it's being repaired :/

Hi,
I have been using the older Tamron adaptall mount lenses on my Eos 5D and Eos 5 (when I want to shoot film) Some of the older Tamron SP lenses are excellent especially the 90mm with the 2x matched multiplier that will give you lifesize for macro work.
Eos mounts for the Tamron will go straight on and that 90mm is superb for portraiture, although I found it a little TOO sharp!!
Another one I use is the Tamron SP 35-80 2.8 as a walkaround. Hope this helps a little...Have fun

I'll second the tamron adaptall recomendation ... I have a 17mm so that is very good, although can suffer with flare in the wrong conditions, for a lot of things it's very good! And can of course be adapted to many other cameras!

correct me if I'm wrong but after I took a quick look at the tamron lenses, it seems they didn't come in anything faster than 2.5
