Oldie Photos.

Stunning work. Really. Love the colour version of the first, mainly because the colours of her hair and trumpet blend so well together. She's a bonny lassie, clearly photogenic, and I think the pair of you have done really well here.

I really like the latter 3 shots!
right up my road those are, they make a great set together too
yep yep yep really good stuff!!

Thanks, Pete you are correct a few have been on flickr for a while. I came across the raw files the other day and looked at them again in LR 4 wth the 2012 profiling. This time round I enjoyed them more and think I got more our of the Raw's than I did the first time round. I do occasionally go over old Raw files to see if I have learn 't anything over time to improve on them. I do believe that the software such as LR and Photoshop have advanced, in allowing us to get the most out of files, as camera technology itself. The jump from L3 to LR4 is huge, for at least the way I go about things.
Sadly Pete the CD is not happening, so there goes my hopes of living in comfort beyond my means, I need another cunning plan for that.
Brian you mention the Bokeh , surprisingly I did plan that by shooting into the sun. A low winter stark sun, sharp twinkles of light off of Damp and wet twiggy bushes, the sun was intense. You know that kind of low sun that blinds you driving at each end of the day, its good for pictures as its dramatic. Not often I try something and it works. Thanks Rob, Dave and Hamish.

Like #4 a lot - the lack of eye contact and the asymmetry with the hand to the face are very appealing
