On line magazines...

Having treated myself to an iPad mini yestreen', I have now taken out an on line subscription to Adore Noir....

I did contemplate going with Black and White Photography magazine, but felt the last few paper issues I read in Tesco (other supermarkets are available) were rather repetitive...

Does anyone else have a "go to " publication for inspiration...?

The only one I go to Doug is what Pete recommended here a while back and that was F11. It has a good cross section of everything.
Plus it is Free.

I have been looking at ipads this morning and cannot make up my mind. I just wish you could add memory, if that was so I'd have got one a long while ago. But I guess for browsing whilst the sun rises and a freshly brewed coffee it is enough.

Thanks Julian, I'll give f11 a look...

I've been toying with it for ages, but succumbed yesterday. It's the most basic model, wi-fi only, but it's ample for reading, email and browsing.

We're spending most weekends away from home just now, so I needed something other than a full blown laptop to cover my meagre requirements...and my good lady is getting fed up with me pinching hers...

Also, as I'm looking to upgrade my iMac in a few months, it was the most I was allowed to spend....apparently...!

Yes I was looking and most likely would be the basic wifi model. I wonder if you can upgrade your existing imac, may be a consideration

Hello there Julian. If I may, I would recommend a Samsung galaxy note 8 with 16 GB. It has a S Pen / S Note 8.0 WXGA LCD 1.6 GHz Quad-Core CPU Multi Window. It is marvellous, wonderful colours, can be used as a writing pad with your pencil that is included in a pocket inside it. Look it up. I bought one for me and one for Shirl at £ 125 sterling. 17cm x 11 cm screen. Easy to tag along. Great little thing. Have had it for more than two years now. Well here is a link; http://www.samsung.com/uk/consumer/mobile-devices/tablets/others/GT-N5110ZWABTU Look it up mate. That is to me anyway, not a one I regret. It has replaced all my use of laptops and bigger pads. Just thought I'd mention it. You know I'm not a gadget man:rolleyes: Forgot to say that the magazine is quite good.
