Critique Welcomed On the Boardwalk - Covert Street

Chris Dodkin

Up the coast from me is the city of Oceanside - on the face of it, a nice seaside town with a pier, but there's always been an edginess about the community, despite efforts to gentrify the neighborhoods.

I took a walk along the boardwalk and pier, shooting from the hip, and capturing the locals and tourists.

Chris Once again a fantastic set........you should really put all your 'covert' shots together they would make a great bio of the areas you visit/shoot and dare to go..judging by the local Gal in the first one here :D

Whats with all the names on the fencing with the fisher-folk?

Liking 'Boys from the hood', just shows that its too hot for a shirt yet street-cred requires the correct uniform to be worn at all times...........

There's one thing missing in this set though......I don't see a DRSG anywhere................:D:D:D:D

Thanks chaps :)

Didn't realize that the 'lady' in For Rent had spotted me, and was giving me the finger - until I got home and looked at he shot. I took the shot with the camera in my right hand, down at my side, so wasn't looking at her as I passed by.

The names carved into the rails on the Pier represent concerned residents of Oceanside who contributed funds for the building of the current pier - the longest on the West Coast.

No DSGs! Suspicious.... :D

Thanks Pete - Oceanside never fails to surprise the visitor! :D
