A Trabant. A acre from the former East Germany. Two-stoke engine and body panels made from resin-impreganted card! They also came in beige! And as an estate.

Vinyl is coming back more and more and there are still some super films around. Portra is a great colour negative film and the Cinestill emulsions are rather special.

I have been looking a tube amplifiers and a turntable lately. I have 100's of CD's and when I think about it I don't listen to that many of them. A lot of the recordings I like are available on vinyl again.

That was the one I looked at on the B&H site. I think I am going to try it out. Last time Cathy came to Houston I noticed that she uses a strap. She doesn't carry a purse...go figure.
I think sometimes I have too much camera stuff. I honestly could be perfectly happy with 35mm and 28/24mm. I bought this really expensive 56mm F1.2 (85mm equivalent) lens. I think I have used it twice......
Thanks!!!! That length on the strap is exactly what I am looking for. I like it slung across my body as opposed to around the neck. The camera flops too much around the neck.

It's funny I have a TV but I don't have cable. I use it to watch movies because most of what plays in the cinema now is just not what I like. I always felt like vinyl records made more sense. I like the idea of two sides and of course the approx. 40 minute limitation. Too many artists pack way too much marginal music on CD's. I was recently listening to the remastered Sticky Fingers. Perfect, nothing else needed. They really were quite good back then.
