I like the composition. The photo might benefit from a little more exposure and sharpness but perhaps the larger original file was sharper? I also like the dram in the interesting sky. I think this works very well in B&W.

Nice composition Davie and B&W works well. I have a feeling that contrast might be a little bit too high in the fore and mid ground though. I find the difference between the land / water and sky a bit too great.
