OPEN WINDOW

I like this very much. Dark summer evening, film noir. And it reminds me of a film, I just can't recall which.

Not being a great film buff, would not know, It is actually a trailer hut/house which is drawn behind a Steam traction engine. Although who knows, at one time having studied The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari for what seemed at the time for far to long, but all totally forgotten, it maybe I drew unconscious impressions of that era. It did start out much more abstract with a great enigmatic quality about it. I liked the cloud so lightened it all.

Great places those studios, the way the , skill, organisation and hard work is involved in the making of something believable. It makes Photoshop appear tame. Fun to be a stills photographer on set.:)

There's a feeling of escape with the open window and the position of the cloud

The Great Escape. Classic! (He got caught!)

(In real life they all got caught but one or maybe two I think.)

Back to the picture (the photograph I mean): Great shot, Julian. That window frame pops right out in more ways than one.
