Not being a great film buff, would not know, It is actually a trailer hut/house which is drawn behind a Steam traction engine. Although who knows, at one time having studied The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari for what seemed at the time for far to long, but all totally forgotten, it maybe I drew unconscious impressions of that era. It did start out much more abstract with a great enigmatic quality about it. I liked the cloud so lightened it all.
It does have a look of the German Expressionists about it doesn't it. Dr Caligari - good reference. And filmed at Babelsberg Studios too! The other one though!
Great places those studios, the way the , skill, organisation and hard work is involved in the making of something believable. It makes Photoshop appear tame. Fun to be a stills photographer on set.
