Critique Welcomed Other view of Mount Fuji

A beautiful area Aldous and a great place to view 富士山 from, your posts have certainly stirred me into looking at your landscape and culture some more. I attempted in my fine art degree dissertation about what we refer to as far eastern art. I found to do this on my own something very difficult and far too challenging at that time and dropped the idea. But these have again sparked a desire. It may also be that I do some ceramics and there is a strong link here in Cornwall and Japan regarding pottery. Bernard Leach wrote many essays and books of his years travelling to Japan spending a lot of time there and was taught by some great Japanese potters and brought back new techniques and idea kick starting a revolution that the individual studio potter could survive make a living and be very creative, within an art form that here at that time was dominated by the industrial and high commerce mass production factories of Stoke on Trent. :)
