It must have been very satisfying to walk on such a beautiful autumn day (I can almost feel the mild temperature from your photos, Rob). Plus being able to take beautiful photos, albeit with your mobile phone, that you could share with others and keep for memory. Well done.

Of course, these are not your usual photographs (maybe they are more my usual ones...), but they are still nice photos, especially for the warm, grazing light. I like the cycle/pedestrian bridge.

I don’t know, Bill. I tried one, and regretted doing so. Very bitter.

The hospital is on the south edge of Edinburgh, where the landscape becomes rural. Many people complain it is hard to get to. My wife visits most days, and her bus journey takes an hour.
