Prague, November 2017
I often spend what seems like hours waiting for people to get out of shot. This time though, it was quite the opposite.

Good shot, Chris. We have a couple of these "touch for luck" phenomena in Edinburgh. One is the nose of Grayfriar's Bobby - bronze statue of a dog, which has had to get his nose replaced - and the other is the big toe of the philosopher of The Enlightenment, David Hume, the irony being how he tried to free our minds from such irrational behaviour. Madness.

I know the Edinburgh ones well.
There's another one in Prague which is a bigger than life size male nude. You might guess which part is highly polished. When I was there, there was always a crowd of giggling females in front of it but, for some unfathomable reason, they never seemed to be seeking luck when there was a stranger with a camera nearby!

Thanks, I like that one a lot.
I think I probably made a better job of it than her husband/boyfriend/whoever did. This is him trying to photograph her. My shot was taken when she did it for real, while his shots were posed!
