These were taken with Velvia E6 film, four years out of date, and not kept in a fridge. I'm somewhat disappointed, but can't blame the film. I think Portra 160 might have been a better choice. Still, I like the idea I had in mind, just green squares, and I do like the first of the four here. That was one of the reasons to choose the Mamiya 6 over 7, the square format. After spending my youth gazing at LP covers, I love square format.

I like those. Re the expired film, I don't have any first hand experience with Velvia, but I'm guessing it should be a bit more saturated and punchy? If you have RAW or TIFF scans it looks like one could give it a helping hand in the compooter. :)

Well, I'd try anyway... I always do...:rolleyes:
 
Yes, I played around in the compooter a bit, but always kept coming back to the original as they are unique, in a way, and why try to make them look like everything else? Well, there might be a good reason to do that, but I decided not to. They are what they are.
