Oxford Street

My old home town. Did you find anywhere to park?

B&W works well with the architecture there: though sometimes the golden stone walls can look great in the evening sun.

I was pretty impressed with how oxford seems to deal with parking, there is a stack of park and rides with busses every few minutes ... Very well organised!
I didn't have any colour film in the cameras I took, but I had wished I had at times for sure!

Bik protection rackets! They're a big problem and the subject of intense gang rivalry as you can see. ;)

Nice grouping and composition Hamish - the English equivalent of a Reservoir Dogs standoff! :)

Definitely something afoot eh? I'm hoping Ben Jennings spots this and posts his shot of the same moment ...

I put my kids in those stocks when we were all last in the UK.

Hamish, surely you realised the advantage of digital..........you can have both colour and B&W from the same image.

Did you show your daughter the herd of Deer in Magdalen College?

Very nice Hamish - brings back memories as I lived there for a year

Still rocking the XP2 then I see :D
