[Julian de'Courcy]

Painting the underside of the old life boat, in preparation for a weekend convention of old life boats at Fowey this coming weekend. John Moore asked me to take a photograph, I hesitated as the rope was crossing them in an awkward place, but saw an opportunity to use the rope within the image as they painted further along the hull.

Yes I felt like Rob here. Two pictures all together, but then they are in a way. I think there's something familiar with the character to the left though.

Yes Terry seems to be hanging around every corner. That is the pleasure of being retired. Where as John is into his eighties and still building the odd boat here and there.

I agree with Rob, the rope and braces really add so much, especially as one set of braces matched the lower part of the boat and the other the upper!
