Passing Landscapes, 100mph

Rob MacKillop

Went with the girls to Newcastle today..took some shots from the train. I've been busy with music this last month, and haven't had much time to contribute here, and haven't taken many images at all until today. These are digital, but I have some film ones as well...for later, perhaps.

So, Fuji XE-1, 18-55mm, Auld Nik - Glamour Glow and Polaroid Transfer

Was thinking of ECM album covers...(should you know what they are) ... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Pat_Metheny_-_Bright_Size_Life.jpg

Love the way that first one came out - those colors in the final image, the feeling of movement

Beth - not a drop. I'm a coffee addict only.

Chris - thanks. I am pleasantly surprised by these too. A strong element of luck is involved when you are travelling at over 100 mph!

The PP has got your signature all over them Rob, brilliant

Thanks, Paul. The Borders area between Scotland and England can have a sense of isolation, here and there. I should get off the train and go walkabout...
