Path Between The Stones

Dean Cemetery, Edinburgh. One of my first batch of pinhole shots, but edited to bring out the S-shaped tire marks on the path. I really like this image (I don't mind saying so) although one could get 'picky' with it. On the whole, though, it has a quality I've been looking for with pinhole photography - an atmosphere. Will explore this camera further.

Rob I remember well some of your earlier picture from this location. Very strong images they were. Like this one also. The softness works well, the path itself seems to have a nice quality of it's own, the way it graduates into the distant almost as a seperate entity to the rest of the image. Nice one.

Very nicely done Rob and I too like this very, very much. A truly wonderful shot and one that illustrates how much more you can get out of keeping returning to a familiar place.

Shall I get picky? You expected nothing less. ;) I'd be tempted to tone down the bright area of path the tiniest amount with a control point in SilverFX. I like it but I find it just the tiniest bit light.
