Photo restoration

Hi. I got asked by a mate to restore a photo he had.

Here's how I got on:

Just wondering if anyone has ever tried this type of stuff and how you got on. Also, comments (constructive) would be welcome.

I've done a lot of work like that. It's painstaking and takes hours. In the 70's I did it without Photoshop first make a cope then bleach & retouch.

You need to adjust the tonal range, burn in the sweater, I gets it's reflecting in the scan. I think a better sacn would help, the print needs to be flatter.
