I see you have gone for primes over zooms. I always thought that not having a zoom lens would be restrictive but instead I find you actually have more options as they tend to be faster so you can do more with the DOF and you can usually walk to or away from things anyway.

Hi Paul,

Yes I've very recently bought two fixed primes, don't know how it happened, it just did, as you say i enjoy the faster f stop. I do have a 70-200mm f/2.8 which I use for motorcycle racing at my local Knockhill circuit.

I'm going to order the Samyang 85mm f/1.4 lens in January, lush.
