Sorry, I didn't make it clear. It is my urban preset. I started using the 300 series but created my own that suited the subjects I liked better (more fill, red and orange with less vignette). Often combined with a gradient or two. It is a sort of moderate bleach bypass with C41/E6 CP (hence the slight cast).
I will go back through my favourites when I get a chance and correct perspective where necessary and add a keyline border. I find the perspective corrections in LR clumsy and the work arounds for borders don't do it for me.
Thanks Darren. The lady was a lucky break. I saw her walking up and had to wait for a couple minutes till she was passing. Pretty well everyone else around was dressed fairly casually. At one point she looked like she might go into a shop and I would 'lose' her!
I like very much and real food for thought. I have been to Prague a couple of times but not had my camera. I like the way you steered clear of the obvious photo shots.
nice set Pete, of course the quality is as always excellent. I pretty much like them all for one reason or another not sure which one tops them all. I'm sure the last one you would love the woman to be alone in the shot as I'm sure if that was the case that would be a real winner.
Thanks Vic. There's a whole bunch more at http:www.babelsberg-studio.com in a gallery called... Prague (imaginative Eh?!). I also have a stack from Athens and Mykonos that I might try and finish off today.
I was tempted to shift the DoF to isolate her a bit from the others in hte background but I think it would have looked fake. The lens was set to about 1/5.6 ready for grab shots and she was walking too briskly to get a second shot at a wider aperture. Still, you can't have everything!
Any progress on your abandonded loaction / models?
No news on the project yet. I will try to get in contact with all parties over the holiday break maybe for next weekend. If all else fails I have Alix who is willing
Ah, a man after my own heart! Not just the Jewish quarter though. As soon as you move off the main streets you will find them and even on them when you look.
I was particularly interested in the electric boxes (sad I know) and will edit a selection of them together on the Babelsberg site.
