Chris was good enough to send me his preset on Topaz BW for the AZ shots, and I've been messing about with that program a bit this weekend. Here's a shot of the lodge in Julian where I spent Thanksgiving:
Note that I didn't have a TS lens with me - just my 24-70, so I shot at 24mm, holding the camera level (hand held), and then cropped out a bunch at the bottom of the frame.
Julian is an old mining town about an hour east of the beach here in San Diego. Most people don't associate San Diego with pine trees and mountains, but we have a little of everything. It actually snows here fairly regularly in the winter, and Chris would have found all the fall colours he desired in the trees now.
