Thanks Aldous. I was walking along the promenade with a colleague last night so didn't really have an opportunity to take many shots. Hopefully I can catch the evening light after work today - it was gorgeous last night when I arrived.

Monochrome is really a good piece of Leica Digital camera which I really love it!

It truly is a stunning camera. It's performance at high ISO well exceeds my D3 / D800 cameras and as long as you take care to control exposure of highlights (it is utterly unforgiving as there are no colour channels to recover information from) it is capable of fantastic results.

I'm a bit annoyed with you Pete. I jumped the queue of new posts to see this fotie because you mentioned beer in the title. I see no damn beer! You should be embarrassed taking a fotie of no beer with a Leica Monochrome!
