I took a few pics of this last night and was going to try again today. My idea was to use it as a stacking project,never having stacked images before, with the possibility of getting the whole seed head in focus..I suspect Cs6 may not be up to it but I'll give it a go.
Good idea Rob, a dandy planet?

Great idea Rob and it works well. They are remarkable things aren't they and I love the fine tones and detail here.

Thanks, gents, and thanks to Pete for introducing me to Helicon Focus stacking. Never heard of it before, but I can see how useful it would be, especially if I ever get a proper macro lens. Interesting.
