I'd love to up-size these then reproduce onto canvas, and hang them in some of the rooms of my large Malibu mansion (all rooms are white inside, minimalistic decor, lots of stainless steel - you get the picture) . . . . I don't think that's going to happen, oh well [drool]

I've always loved the colourful, vague abstract art I see in museums, I've attempted same here with a Fuji X-E1, Fujinon 35mm.

Simon it is always good to experiment. I love abstract images. They don't for me resemble Rothko as his shape was more rectangular and square horizontals, with linear markings. It does though get into the realm of Patrick Heron who was a superb abstract landscape artist amongst other abstract subjects. His excellent use of colour was up there with Matisse.
