Oh, and a B+W 10-stop ND filter, and 60 seconds exposures, 3-exposure bracketing of 1/3 EV
Still experimenting :)

i like these a lot Rob, I would like to have seen them before the Nik software

Rob,

AWESOME images, but I really ADORE the bottom shot, the sky is brilliant, subtle and moody, again nice contrast, fantastic photography. Do yourself a huge size print and hang that on your wall, take a stand back and be proud - well done!!!!

Respect.

p.s.
I now carry my tripod in the car everywhere, 24/7.

Ha, thanks, Peter, and for the tip :) Another thing I forgot was to set my camera on RAW - these are all jpegs...very annoying.

The first image is a little but wobbly - the camera was on hard ground, but the wind was strong. I was trying to protect it with an umbrella, but that got blown inside out. I think I'll glue the tripod to the camera...

The results are very dynamic and moody - I was watching your issues with camera stability, and wanted to remind you to bring the tripod ;)

You are really getting some fabulous stuff out of this ND filter / bracketed exposure business. I reckon it's about time that pinhole camera accompanied your as well.

Great series and I think the touch of movement adds something to that first shot.

Like the method employed here, I have come away with more knowledge of how too. Really love the isolated camera on bus shelter, slipway and rocks. It looks a lonely soul yet
fully in charge. Nice sets Rob.
